New Zealand born Nathan Ryde is an artist with a talent beyond his years. His seductive underpainting lures the senses while gestural brushstrokes reveal the surface technique. A characteristic simplicity we can follow throughout the history of Nathan Ryde's artwork. Nathan's environment has always had a great effect on his work with time spent in Italy, and even a few months in a japanese Zen monastery, that has undoubtably influenced his artwork. Nathan has had work accepted into art galleries in both Rome and Florence. With refreshing direction, skill and vision, it is a pleasure to experience Nathan Ryde's artwork and we look forward to his continuing journeys.
