Artist Name: Nicky Percasky
Nikki Percasky Nikki developed an interest in art at a young age, whilst travelling the world with her parents. This experience opened her eyes to some of the world's most famous artists and cities. Artists such as Picasso, and in particular his cubist style, fuelled Nikki's natural creative talent. She then went on to study under the Rudolph Steiner regime for 5 years. It was there that she learned to express her individuality and develop her passion for combining colours. Some time later, Nikki purchased a beautiful new home which she wanted to fill with beautiful art works, both traditional and modern. This inspired her to pick up a brush and start painting again. Her works attracted a great deal of interest and commissions started to flow. Most of Nikki's art work is now sold to overseas buyers, although she does have an exclusive market within New Zealand.
Nikki's paintings, in keeping with her personality, tend to be strong, colourful and vibrant. She loves to use rich golds, chocolates and other earthy colours, inspired by New Zealand's harsh landscape.
