Pamela Nelson I’ve been silver smithing since 1995 where I learnt under the wing of another jeweller in Nelson. The natural beauty embodied within my work is inspired by my surroundings in Golden Bay where I currently reside. Paua shell or sea opal is used predominantly within my jewellery as it beholds an unsurpassable beauty of colour and lustre. As a New Zealander the koru holds special meaning to me. Nature has created the perfect Koru upon the Cats Eye Shell. It brings great pleasure to create jewels with such beautiful treasures so you too can enjoy them wherever you go.
