Artist Name: The Laughing Museum
Frederic Berjot was born in France 1963. At the age of twenty he studied the Art of Sculpture at 'Atelier des Arts' for two years, and from there was given the opportunity to work as first assistant to the well-known Sculptor and Architect Patrick Mazery. It was during these early years that he discovered his strong passion for sculpting and produced his first series of figurative pieces which led to his opening of Gallery and Studio 'La Musee de Rire' now known as The Laughing Museum in Ile St Louis, Paris. His enthusiasm for new experiences later brought Berjot to Austrialia. Here he opened The Laughing Museum studio and gallery where he continued to produce sculptures and develop his characteristic style while studying at the National Art School in Sydney. The phenomenal success and recognistion of his contemporary, unique artwork has led to a wide demand throughout Austrialia as well as internationally.
